Dr Chris Wang / Creative Producer
Dr. Chris Wang ( Yongjia Wang) is a key representative of Asia in the global cultural and creative industries. He played a vital role in the development of the events industry in China.

As one of the directors of the American Event Management Institute (AEMI), Dr. Wang launched the AEMI International Festival Culture Series in 2002. His arts events and festivals have taken over all the world’s major cultural and fashion cities and gained him international recognition as a producer of arts festivals and events.
He designed and planned large-scale cultural events such as “Global Events Summit”, “International Comedy Festival” “World Sports Event and Tourism Summit” as well as running
a series of smaller scale arts festivals all over China and South East Asia.
Dr. Wang graduated from Nanjing University of China majoring in British and American literature. He then completed an MA and a PHD in events and festivals management at George Washington University.
His renowned monograph “Event Management” (Tsinghua University Press) laid the foundations for the development of the international events and festivals management industry in China. Dr Wang is a part-time professor at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
Eszter Marsalko / Creative Producer
Eszter works as a director, dramaturg and creative producer within the wider performing arts and festivals industry.

She has extensive experience working with theatre companies, arts festivals as well as individual artists on projects ranging from music theatre, circus, contemporary dance, magic, opera, puppetry, street theatre and new writing to Shakespeare.
Eszter has considerable experience with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and working as creative producer and festival programmer in China.
Eszter brings vision, energy and passion to all creative projects. She has worked extensively across borders including in Hungary, Germany, Norway, the UK and China.
